With a lackluster Golden Globes and a scandal-ridden Oscars, perhaps the one thing that tied the string of seemingly never-ending awards ceremonies for TV, music and movies was the red carpet fashion.
Between the glitzy Golden Globes, toned-down Critics’ Choice and SAG Awards, wild Grammys and glamorous Oscars, both lust-worthy styles and bizarre looks kept the fashion police busy. Read on to find out which celebs dazzled at the Oscars Red Carpet this year!
Cate Blanchett in Armani. Scientists have proven it is impossible to look at this dress and not gasp and then remain speechless for at least 10 seconds. We were pretty stumped for words while we soaked in the utter beauty of it.
Lady Gaga in Brandon Maxwell. For Gaga, this is a positively demure look. We think of this, in a way, like a Gaga-fied version of the Gwyneth Paltrow Tom Ford cape look from Oscars 2012 (which is a high compliment, of course).
Saoirse Ronan in Calvin Klein. Too glamorous for words.
Alicia Vikander in Louis Vuitton. Alicia Vikander — who has been the style icon of the season — surprised slightly with this yellow Louis Vuitton look. We’re not sure what exactly those — we’ll call them “sparkly caterpillars” — are on her dress, but she can do no wrong in our book. (We are slightly disappointed though she didn’t use the occasion to walk down the red carpet with boyfriend and fellow nominee Michael Fassbender.)
Charlize Theron in Dior. The Mad Max star was truly statuesque in a plunging red Christian Dior gown accessorized with a perfectly-placed diamond pendant.
Margot Robbie in Tom Ford. In a quite literal interpretation of Oscar, the blonde bombshell was a total knockout in plunging Tom Ford and Forevermark Diamonds.
Jennifer Lawrence in Dior. Lingerie-inspired Christian Dior had the Joy star winning for sultriest look of the night (and best blonde bob).
Olivia Munn in Stella McCartney. When flattery and form merge, a red carpet look lasts. Such is this apple red, one-shouldered Stella McCartney dress worn on the beautiful Olivia Munn, paired with Forevermark Diamonds. Minimalistic dressing at its absolute best.
Brie Larson in Gucci. The Best Actress nominee stepped onto the most important red carpet of her career thus far in a bold lapis blue custom Gucci by Alessandro Michele dress and waist-defining statement belt. Fashion star in the making, indeed.
Rooney Mara in Givenchy. Excuse us, we will be devoting the rest of our life to starting a religion around the cut-out in Rooney Mara’s dress.
Whose red carpet style took your breath away? Tell us in the comments below!

Style Aria is cheering Arantza Cendejas -one of the famous faces on instagrams with a huge follower-ship. With her constant style inspiration and fashion photos, Arantza keeps her admirers asking for more. Be it travel or just a day out in the sun, this fashion femme knows how to work it. Instagram has taken connecting and socializing on a different level. The platform is more about delivering an experience without words.
We bring her feature interview, loaded with the fashionista’s style and tips for a great instagram throne she rightly reigns.
You surely come across as a traveler in style . Do you have a favorite city or place, that you would love to travel to?
I do try to travel as much as I can. One of my favorite places in the US that I have been is Colorado. Anything that has to do with mountains and hiking and outdoors is absolutely my favorite! However my DREAM place to visit in this world is Greece. I hope to fulfill that dream one day.
Your instagram selfies are beautiful and inspiring.IS there a makeup routine you follow before the pics? We would love to know some tips.
A lot of my pictures, just have my everyday natural look.Where it is nothing too heavy and I also don’t use “expensive make-up”. The only thing I do use are just drug store products. Some tips I would say do your make up how you feel comfortable. If its wearing no makeup, or wearing bright colors for your everyday look, then go for it! To me the definition of beauty is for a woman to feel comfortable in her skin. If it’s either looks then I say go for it. We are all different and have various looks, we just need to learn how to embrace each look and work it! I am working on developing a YouTube channel with makeup tutorials and fashion tips. Should keep an eye out, I will be launching it in the next few weeks.
We love that most of your instagram pics are in a natural scene. How you choose your instagram backdrops?
I choose my background scenes based on the shoot that I want to do. For example if it’s a summer shoot I usually want to shoot in a place where there is a lot of “greens”. If it is a fall shoot, I love to shoot with trees and their colorful. If it’s just a casual look then any nature background would look great. I do drive around Houston to find spots.
Which category of Instagrams would you say has the most comments or follower-ship? why do you think that is?
I think that the category of Instagram that would have the most comments or fellowship are the pages that are unique and inspirational. I think that because those are the most powerful types of inspiration. People who are different and unique in their own ways. People who have an inspirational story and are wanting to make a change in this world.
Who helps you take the captivating instagram pics when they aren’t selfies?
My younger sister is someone who has always helped me out through my whole life. She always takes my pictures and even gives me FANTASTIC ideas on fashion. She’s someone who is a great inspiration to me.
Your instagrams spotlights your flawless skin, any secrets you would like to share?
A secret I would like to share about my “spotlight flawless skin” is to ALWAYS see your lighting. Lighting can make a huge difference. Work the angle that does best to your skin.
Your instagram follower-ship is ever increasing. What do you think attracts that kind of inspiration?
I think the type of inspiration I’m generating is that my page is simply who I am and being able to showcase my loves of this life. Whether its my cats, or makeup, or modeling I make sure it’s unique and unlike anything out there.
How much behind-the -scene work goes into your images on instagram?
Actually a lot of work does happen behind scenes on my Instagram pictures. When I do a shoot I take about 500 images and having to find a good one takes FOREVER! and then from there I ask for advice to my friends and family which one looks better and so on.
Any latest fashion trend/ style you are following?
Not at this moment
What photo editing apps would you recommend for instagram pics?
A great app that I do use a lot if called “BeFunky” and another I do love to use is “PhotoCandy.”
Two of my all time favorites.
Any exciting projects that you’re looking forward to this year ?
A huge project I am working on is launching my YouTube channel in the next few weeks. To give both fashion advice and makeup tutorials. I hope to launch it by the end of this year.

Believing in the mantra, that ever person is unique and should not shy away from shining. Miss Mirjana succeeds to impress everyone around her with her confident stature and poise. Beauty pageants are a platform for the world to see, that pulchritude is subjective and taking part in the not so easy title race is more about just beauty. It’s about the service to the community, emerging as a role model, uncovering you love for the city and more so, respecting the effort you are putting in. Whenever you gain a platform that brings the spotlight on you, everything doesn’t have to be perfect to be beautiful.
We undertook to collaborate with the gorgeous Miss Mirjana as she truly represents the essence of Style Aria- An undying love for fashion, that not only emerges but inspires. We bring to you some candid questions with her, to get a slight peek into her journey from the stage to millions of hearts and girls everywhere that look up to her.
First of all, Congratulations on your wedding!! Has life changed for you at all post marriage?
Thank you so much! Actually, life has not changed that much. We have been together since 2008 and
it was (high) time for us to take the next step.
I still have to come to terms with calling him ” my husband” and not “my boyfriend”. I think after 7 years it is hard for me to change that so quickly. But I am getting there.
How did you decide that you wanted to take your husbands’ surname? Is there a special significance behind it?
For me it was out of question to keep my old name. Every woman has to decide for herself if she
feels good about accepting her husband’s name.
I wanted to keep it the traditional way, that’s why I accepted his name. I think Mirjana Zuber
sounds good, don’t you think so?
Who, would you say influences your fashion decisions and style statement ?
Who influences me today, are girls from different walks that effortlessly mix things together and
are able to make it creative and fun.
To keep up, I follow some fashion pages on Instagram, which inspire me with some new ideas how
to put some great looks together. So, I take the inspiration and give it my own twist of style
and personality. It is very important to keep a little bit of “You” in every ensemble.
The Kardashian-Sisters are the one I am following the most. Every Kardashian Sister has
something that provokes me to try out. Growing up, I used to be very very shy and I never wanted
to attract people’s attention with my styling. For this reason, I dressed in a very
unremarkable fashion – wearing only a jeans and a simple t-shirt. Even a red bag at times, was
too much for me as I thought that everyone would stare at me. Gradually, I started feeling more
and more comfortable about myself. That includes my way of thinking and my body. I started to
try out some new things. Today I am a totally different person. I love to be overdressed and I
can handle the attention because I have grown so much. Today, I don’t care what others do or
think about me, I just focus on myself.
Even The Kardashian’s have to take a stick over some comments. But they are the living proof
that they feel comfortable and they will continue to ignore peoples’ opinion and written word ,
even if it is against them.
For a platform like Miss Switzerland 2014, a lot goes into the preparation, what was the hardest thing you had to do ?
Competing for Miss Switzerland was a challenge for me. I had to learn how to give interviews and
how to speak in public. We had no media training, therefore everything was “learning by
doing”. I learned so much about myself and it also helped me to see where my strengths and
weakness are. I learned to put the “one million dollar smile“ – I call this smile, the one you
have to put on your face even when you don’t feel like to smile.
Apart from that, looking back the hardest thing was the preparation for the final show. We were
practicing for the show from 8 am until 6pm, mostly in high heels. I remember it being the
hardest week in my life. I felt exhausted and my feet were swollen like balloons. Today I know
where my limits are.
How did the Miss Switzerland 2014 Pageant impact your life
and fashion style?
After and during the competition a lot of girls contacted me through Facebook and Instagram,
they wanted to hear from me about getting in shape and places I buy my clothes from.
During the competition we had to wear the clothes given from our sponsors. After the
competition, I was free to wear whatever I wanted. That was actually the time I got the most
messages from girls wanting to know more about my style inspirations.
They noticed my style and asked me about my outfits. That gave me the idea, to post daily outfits and to inspire other girls. Some outfits might be very eye-catching but that is just what I like. The best outfit is still your confidence. It sounds wired but that is the most important step to shine from the inside to the outside.
Last year I was a big supporter of my sister Jelena Vasovic and her company “Body&Mind” by Jelena Vasovic“ (www.jelenavasovic.com) she gave her best to get me in shape for the finals. I always mentioned that I live very healthy and that I take care about my body. So I decided to share my experience and to help as much as I can. I connected my fashion with a healthy lifestyle. I got a lot of inquires for bikini&fashion shootings, it proved that I was representing myself in the right way. That is the direction I always wanted to go.
Is there a fashion trend you swear by-The must have wardrobe essential for you?
My wardrobe essentials are my clutches and bags. I can pimp every “BORING” outfit with my colorful bags. My must haves are skinny ripped jeans and a black leather jacket.
Where do you see the fashion industry heading?
I think the fashion industry will always change and evolve. What the masses of people wear today
is the “now”, but we will have to wait and see what the future brings.
It always depends what the masses like to wear. There are maybe a few who like to follow a trend
but the big masses don’t like it.
Is there a look from your contest that you absolutely love and would wear it again?
As we had a sponsor for our clothes we could never feel free to mix our own pieces with the clothes given. So, I could never really see myself in the outfits. I prefer my style now.
According to you, what constitutes true beauty?
This is not an easy thing to explain, yet I want to give it a try-
Everything starts in your head. Your thinking and opinion about yourself is very important. If you are thinking you are beautiful or not – both is right. When you start learning to control your mind and always think positive about yourself, you start feeling very good about your body and personality and just everything around you falls in place. What I want to say, is that beauty really comes from the inside not only with having a good heart and so on… it is really a question of your thinking.
You need to ask questions like- What do you think about yourself? Why are you comparing yourself to the other girls? . You will truly shine if you have a lot of confidence and love for yourself. I never understood these words until I started to practice that every day!
Every morning I used to stand naked in front of a mirror and say to myself “You are beautiful just the way you are. You are so powerful and magical. I love you!”. It might sound very weird but this is a crucial step in learning to love yourself.
Is there a regimen you follow, for looking ever so radiant?
Motivational and positive soliloquize! Motivating yourself with positive words helps you to feel good about yourself and to achieve your goals.
For future contestants-what advice would you want to give?
If you want to compete and be in the spotlight, I recommend you to feel absolutely good about yourself. If you are a quiet, shy or sensitive person, you probably won’t survive. You need to be strong enough not to take care about other people’s opinion and even be prepared to receive negatives. Even if you have a pure heart and you only wish the best to everyone, there will be this bad person talking really mean about you. You can’t satisfy everyone. Be faithful to yourself and follow your heart.
A lifestyle quote, you live by would be ?
“Remember to remember” – (my tattoo on my left hand)
Every time I have a bad thought I remind myself to think positive. What you feel now, is what
you are going to attract. This is the philosophy I am living by.
Any words for Style Aria readers?
Be positive, try out some new things, be confident, but after all have fun and get a colorful bag!

]]>Women have always taken fancy to men’s wear- be it the androgynous suit-pant or carrying a box cut kurta in style. Designers are not hesitant in pushing the gender clothing styles. The fashion world is beginning to witness more of the “UN-GENDER” fusion styles. When designer Masaba Gupta crafted the short dhoti version of the sari for Sonam Kapoor, it instantly took news and became a head turner. The feisty trend spread like wildfire, which further led to newer breathtaking versions of the cut as displayed by Sougat Paul’s Soup. His tangerine pleated skirt paired with belted sea green top without the pallu version has given new meaning to the phrase sari.
The whimsical experimentation has now gone beyond the limits of fabric choice, extending to the petticoat and blouse. The new-age fashionista can now effortlessly pair a pre-constructed fusion sari with a pair of palazzo/dhoti pants to a movie, or earn style accolades by daring a lycra sari wrapped midway over a pair of tights/skinny jeans for a cocktail party. With the mélange of state-of-the-art fabrics, comfort elements, unconventional structure and a geographically border-less appeal, this classic heritage ensemble is no longer confined to conventional occasions or customary events. Moreover, they are now slowly paving their way into cocktail parties.
With the extinct of dhotis among the male clothing fashion, the designers have now geared up to save this traditional garb as a female outfit. In order to gel this ethnic outfit with current contemporary styles and to satisfy the younger generations’ staggering need for fashion greed, a handful of designers are now interpreting this utopia bygone garb for the modern women-on-the-go. Pairing it with unconventional pieces and inviting imagination and statement at every stage possible.
How would you wear this trend? Leave us your take in the comments below.

Accept it! We love our denims. It fits well, comes in various washes -classic and on trend, and stands the test of time in both quality and silhouette. As much as we love the integrity of our jeans, we decided we wanted to distress a pair for a quick “I’ve owned these jeans for so long and you can tell from a mile away” statement. Although, ripped and distressed jeans are not a new concept, you can very well capture the same essence of panache and vogue with the worn out distressed ones.
There’s something special about rocking a white t-shirt with a distressed jeans, it effortlessly transcends the style without the use overpowering fashion. While we are at it, it’s not just only Jeans that’s reminiscent of good and comfortable times spent in them. If you think about it; there are two sections in society, when it comes to sporting the distressed look. The ones who flawlessly flaunt it and while others fail miserably on the ongoing debate of the distressed jeans stylishness.
Ripped jeans exude a certain flavor which, when teamed with a sexy court shoe and a neat jacket, screams “off-duty Paris Vogue editor”. Now that we agree, it’s safe to say, faultless jeans just look like they’re trying too hard–trying too hard to be trousers. You can certainly hold distressed jeans accountable for having an honesty and integrity about them, even if they have been carefully distressed so that every single pair in Zara, Levis, J.Crew around the world bears identical “wounds”.
Take a look at our usual distressed jean rockers from tinsel town around the world.
Impressed much!! Want to give your dust attracting jeans a modern couture twist.? Here’s your guide to D.I.Y DISTRESSED JEANS
What you’ll need to do:
1. Start with the chalk, sketching out the shape you will want to be the most threadbare. We
chose to keep these areas near where the knee would hit.
2. Sketch additional, smaller shapes that will also be distressed.
3. Put the piece of cardboard inside the pant leg you are starting with, making sure it is under
wherever you’ll be making cuts.
4. Using the exact, make horizontal cuts about .25 inches apart (that stay within the boundaries
of your large shape). The goal is to follow the horizontal lines of the white threads you see
when you turn the jean inside out. You want to keep as many of the white threads intact as
possible!
5. Make sure that all the horizontal cuts went completely through the fabric.
6. Start with one of the .25 strips and gently start separating the white threads out (be
careful not to break them as you do this!). You’ll notice that as the white threads pull away
you’re left with short blue threads.
7. Once all the .25 inch strips you cut are separated, you should be left with a nice threadbare
patch.
8. For your smaller shapes, use the dremel (set it on a mid to high speed) in up and down, and
side-to-side motions until the blue fabric gives way to the white threads beneath.
9. Tada! Repeat the steps on the other leg to make your jeans as distressed as you’d like them
to be.
Ditching the dazzling tiaras and heirloom brooches-the 21st century princess’ must-have is a Bottega Veneta clutch. Here’s a look at the most fashion forward European royals!
1. Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge, UK.
First on our list is a real life legend come true – A not so commoner, marrying her prince
charming, and becoming the princess of our heart. This college love story won us at all levels.
But her poise and style took it to a whole other intensity. She commands jaw dropping praises
every time she steps out. Her favorite labels include Alexander McQueen, Jenny Packham, Erdem
and Missoni, and she’s hardly ever put a foot wrong, stylewise.
2. Charlotte Casiraghi of Monaco.
Eighth in line to Monaco’s throne, this pretty faced damsel is the brand ambassador of “Gucci’s
‘Forever Now’ campaign. This equestrian loving royal, usually competes clad in Gucci outfits. We
can’t get enough of her!
3. Princess Beatrice of England.
This royal definitely earned looks and instantly hit headlines for her out-of-this-world
fascinator at Kate and William’s wedding, Princess Beatrice is a total fashionista. While the
duchess is the indisputable crowd-pleaser, we think Bea brings a lot more fun factor in the
fashion department. Princess Beatrice is a regular at both Hollywood and royal parties, dressing
the part each time. The young royal proves she can rock an edgier look the same week she dons a
traditional gown and fascinator. She always has her specific brand of flare. Her favorites seem
to be Alexander McQueen, Roksanda Ilincic, Miu Miu and Elie Saab.
4. Princess Madeleine of Sweden.
Princess Madeleine of Sweden has dazzled both the European royals in haute couture and New York
City, where she lived with husband Chris O’Neill, dressed in casual, yet chic ensembles. Voted
as one of the most beautiful women in the world, this striking royal – the younger sister of
Victoria, Madeleine is regularly spotted in designs from Oscar de la Renta, and is a big fan of
Victoria Beckham.
5. Princess Charlene of Monaco.
Regal, stunning, Olympian and if that wasn’t enough – married to Prince Albert II! This gorgeous
monarch has been making news forever now. She has graced the cover pages of Vogue magazine with
her stunning face. Zimbabwe born, the Olympian has been spotted in quite a few high luxury
labels like Armani, Versace, Dior, Gucci and their like.
6. Mary, Crown Princess of Denmark.
She has been named one of the world’s most fashionable people in Vanity Fair’s annual
International Best-Dressed List and has posed and given interviews for magazines including Vogue
Australia, Dansk (Danish Magazine, dedicated to Danish fashion), German Vogue. Designers like
Tommy Hilfiger have praised her elegance – like that’s a small thing!
7. Princess Letizia of Spain.
A journalist-turned-princess, Letizia (our new favorite fashion icon!) loves to dress in Spanish
designers, from couturiers such as Felipe Varela, Lydia Delgado, and Lorenzo Caprile to Zara and
Mango. Her favourite shoe designers are Pura Lopez, Magrit and Armand Basi. And she loves bags
from Leowe.
8. Victoria, Crown Princess of Sweden.
Married to Prince Daniel, Duke of Vastergotland, Victoria has a way of carrying off luxury
brands like Elie Saab effortlessly. The princess usually brings her grace and panache forward to
champion Swedish couture. She has even inaugurated Swedish “Fashion Week” – that’s a big laurel
in our book!

We give you the basic DOs and DON’Ts to keep in mind while pairing your denim separates together. Here goes – Pulling Off The Double Denim Trend 101.
Try Different Colors – Before delving into shades of double blue, start out by pairing different shades of denim together, like white jeans and a blue denim jacket, or black jeans and a chambray shirt. It’s almost impossible to go wrong this way. The secret to pulling off this look is balance. A lightweight pale shirt looks great with a dark denim skirt. It’s about knowing your body, and flattering your shape. When wearing denim on denim, lighter shades of denim draw attention to the body areas they cover, while darker washes create a slimming effect. Celebrities like Kate Bosworth, Miranda Kerr, and Alexa Chung always get it right. But if you pay attention to proportions, this look is easily accessible to anyone.
Stay Away From Denim Accessories & Separates of the Same Weight and Wash – There are two major denim on denim pitfalls: picking denim that’s all the same weight and wash, and accessorizing with busy pieces. Steer absolutely clear of denim handbags, shoes and such. You don’t want to look too matchy. Both of these choices will leave you looking like a bit of a miss instead of a hit.
Mix It Up – Mixing is best. When it’s all in one shade, head to toe denim can easily look you’re headed to a horse ranch. But it’s not just a matter of wash—the weight of the fabrics should vary as well. A lightweight chambray shirt paired with dark skinnies and an amazing pair of heels can look very glam.
Go Distressed – Distressed jeans is the way to go if you want to pull off the double denim look perfectly. Something about distressed denim just lends itself well to the denim on denim look. So don’t be afraid to rip away. For a casual yet uber stylish look, try mixing light distressed denim shorts with a medium wash, over-sized, denim shirt and a great pair of biker boots.
Check out below our blogger’s own version of denim on denim, casually thrown on to run some errands – it’s effortless!

The who’s who of Bollywood dazzled on the biggest red carpet event of the year. Here’s our lineup of the best dressed Bollywood celebs at the 60th annual Filmfare Awards.
The best dressed ladies were the usual divas – Sonam Kapoor in Anamika Khanna, Deepika Padukone in a dress by Ashi Studio, and Ileana D’Cruz in a Nikhil Thampi outfit. From the boys of Bollywood, Black Lady winners Shahid Kapoor and Fawad Khan really brought on their fashion A games!
The return to simple elegance at this year’s Screen Actors Guild Red Carpet was a refreshing change from the sparkling mermaid gowns that ruled for the last decade. Most looks were more “casual, laid-back elegance” than “all out bling”. We pick out the best dressed celebs that graced the 2015 SAG Red Carpet!
Emma Stone looked the height of classic chic with a twist in Dior Haute Couture, with Repossi jewels and Christian Louboutin shoes.
Julia Roberts went for the simple yet extremely elegant look in custom Givenchy.
Sarah Hyland was lovely in custom Vera Wang, with Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Julianne Moore, in Givenchy Haute Couture, with Chopard jewels.
Rosamund Pike, in Dior Haute Couture, with Fred Leighton jewels.
As pretty, prim, proper and elegant as the stars look heading into the Golden Globes and the Academy Awards, they don’t necessarily make our heads turn and our mouths drop to the floor. But the Grammys is one night when the who’s who of the music industry create unexpected (and at times outrageous!) style statements on the Red Carpet, it’s where they experiment. Here’s our pick of the Best Dressed Celebs at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards red carpet.
Kat Graham showed off toned figure in a Yanina sheer floral-print dress with white pointed Sophia Webster heels and a black Carrera y Carrera statement ring.
Jessie J looked stunning in a sheer black Ralph and Russo gown with a long train.
Gwen Stefani showed off her shoulders in an Atelier Versace black strapless jumpsuit. We particularly loved the asymmetrical top detail with black netting and nude underlay and the sporty silhouette.
Style Queen Taylor Swift wore one of the night’s more colorful dresses, opting for a leg-baring turquoise ombré Elie Saab Spring 2015 dress with fuschia Guiseppe Zanotti heels and Lorraine Schwartz jewels.
Beyonce was absolutely divine in a Proenza Schouler black bead-embroidered tulle gown with delicate train.
Among those that didn’t sit well at the Grammys Red Carpet were Rihanna’s pink gown (that made her look like a two tier cake), Madonna’s corseted look (which we think is high time should be retired!), Katy Perry and Lady Gaga’s over the top bling-y outfits and Nicki Minaj’s bare-all fringed gown. We hope for better looks next year!
The red carpet for the 68th BAFTA Awards was full to the brim with demurely dressed Brits and Hollywood stars sporting plunging necklines. Walking the red carpet, looking extremely dapper, were hunks David Beckham, Tom Hiddleston, Benedict Cumberbatch and Douglas Booth.
Tom Hiddleston looked suave in an Alexander McQueen tuxedo.
Douglas Booth wore a Dunhill cocktail jacket and evening shirt with bow tie.
David Beckham cut quite the dashing figure in a navy blue suit and bow tie.
Olivia Grant looked nothing less than ethereal in a Jenny Packham gown.
Dianna Agron looked like a total glam goddess in a Lanvin gown with Tabitha Simmons heels.
Reese Witherspoon was a stunner in a Stella McCartney gown, baring a showstopping neckline that plunged deep.
Keira Knightley dressed her baby bump in a very pretty Giambattista Valli number.
Nimrat Kaur cut a classically elegant figure in a pink gown with a stylishly plunging neckline.

All through summer 2014, Swift had been teaching a master’s class on how to absolutely rock the sweetest and sexiest looks possible. From crop-tops to mini-dresses, from pink heels to yellow pumps, this country/pop singer has spent the sunny season of last year showing that she really is the queen of street style, looking gorgeous every single time she leaves the house.
Ever since Taylor officially moved to NYC last spring, the flaxen-haired star has been stepping out with some serious swagger, whether she’s headed to the gym, Whole Foods, or an afternoon date with bestie Karlie Kloss. So, we thought it fitting to round up all Taylor’s best street style moments from the last year.
Scroll through to catch all the photos, and feel free to snag some cues for your own wardrobe…Taylor won’t mind, promise!
Nobody does shirt dress better than Taylor Swift! To re-create this look, just borrow a shirt from your father or boyfriend and wear it as a dress, belted at the waist.
Taylor’s love for vintage – style dresses is quite evident in her day-to-day looks! To follow in Taylor’s footsteps, fashion wise, pick out cute printed dresses in clean, minimalistic silhouettes the next time you go shopping. Swift usually forgoes jewelry because the printed dresses need no additional adornment and look chic on their own.
We could also take a leaf out of Taylor’s style diary for our work wear inspiration! Some of her best looks are downright office chic.
New Yorkers are well-known for their love of black clothing, and it would seem like Taylor Swift has fully embraced the New York City’s trademark trend. The “Blank Space” hit-maker wears all black outfits with applaudable panache.
Another trend that Swift absolutely loves is checks. She pulls off tartan or plaid outfits superbly. Checks are clearly Swift’s go-to print.
The only print Taylor Swift loves more than checks, is the all time favorite stripes! Stripes are Taylor’s choice picks for every season’s wardrobe!
Another Taylor Swift signature style (after the bold red lip of course!) is the pairing of matched separates. Swift is a pro at wearing printed (or plain, for that matter) separates with effortless grace and subtle charm.
The thing we most love about Taylor’s covetable style is the way she can pull off chic hats and makes an effort to include the long dormant accessory in her everyday wardrobe!
Our wardrobe goals for 2015 are clearly set!

Like if you were looking for Indian wear inspiration for a friend’s wedding, you need not spend hours pouring over bridal magazines and brands’ brochures or surfing the web aimlessly. You only need to see what the best dressed celebs were wearing last week when they attended Riddhi Malhotra’s wedding functions!
Sridevi has always been a Bollywood style icon, so it came as no surprise when she was easily the best dressed at Riddhi’s wedding reception. She wore a pink Manish Malhotra outfit and needless to say, she looked a vision – elegant and lovely!
Sonakshi Sinha stunned in a salmon pink Manish Malhotra saree with sequinned border. The look was simple – minimal with understated glam. Sonakshi pulled off the bare minimum look with utter charm and grace.
Other Bollywood actors totally killing it at the Sangeet ceremony were Huma Qureshi in a white kalidaar by Arpita Mehta and Esha Gupta in a vibrant ensemble from Indian by Manish Arora Couture.
Sonam Kapoor is known for making waves with her articulately chosen outfits and elegant dresses while out and about. She wore a dramatic Elie Saab gown to the Stardust Awards, in which she uncharacteristically showed a lot of leg. For an episode of Bigg Boss, she dazzled in a bright red pre-draped saree by Tarun Tahiliani, looking the epitome of loveliness!
Sonakshi Sinha wore a Payal Singhal kurta and patiala salwar for the Jaipur leg of her Tevar promotions, and we loved the look on her! The high and low kurta makes a wide angle at the hem, emphasizing her waist. And we like the red touch she gave to her cropped bob recently.
For PK promotions, the uber-stylish Anushka Sharma wore a Fendi asymmetrical dress from their
Pre-Fall 2014 collection. She carried a Dior handbag and easily pulled off this risque look.
From the boys, best dressed this week was Arjun Kapoor, doing his promotional rounds for upcoming
movie Tevar. To the Aaj Tak Agenda event, he wore a sharp Hugo Boss suit, a checkered shirt by
Tommy Hilfiger and a Brooks Brothers’ tie. This look on him was chic, suave and utterly
smashing.
Lastly, for a recent charity event, Bollywood newbie Samantha Prabhu donned a very pretty look. She wore a churidaar set from Surendri by Yogesh Chaudhary, accessorizing with metallic jhumkas and wearing her hair in a Frozen’s Elsa-inspired braid. The overall effect of this look was quite pleasing.
